| HEARD AROUND TOWN: * Is Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. Thinking of running for mayor? A page pushing him to run for the top job in 2013 popped up on Facebook, and while his team says they had nothing to do with it, they're not exactly issuing Shermanesque denials about his interest in a campaign. "It appears to be a legitimate fan, and obviously we're flattered," spokesman John DeSio said. "No decisions have been made, but we're honored that someone would think that highly of the borough president." Other sources, however, said Diaz is strongly considering entering the mayoral fray. | ||
