Bronx teenagers build nest boxes for migratory tree swallows
A bird in the box is worth two in the bush, Bronx high school students learned this spring. Teenagers from Arturo A. Schomburg Satellite Academy in Longwood worked with Rocking the Boat, a local nonprofit organization, to build nest boxes for tree swallows in Soundview Park.
