Notification issued 8/14/16 at 3:00 PM. Weather permitting, the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will spray adulticide to key mosquito breeding locations in residential areas of The Bronx on Monday, 8/15, between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM the following morning, 8/16. Adulticide will be sprayed from a truck in parts of the following ZIP codes: 10451, 10452, 10453, 10454, 10455, 10456, 10457, 10459, 10460, 10461, 10465, 10474, and 10475. Spraying is intended to reduce the number of mosquitoes and the risk of Zika and West Nile viruses.
In case of inclement weather, application will be delayed until Tuesday, 8/16, during the same hours.
