On Thursday, the MTA board voted unanimously to pass a new round of fare hikes for 2015—starting in March, the base subway/bus pay-per-ride fare will be raised from $2.50 to $2.75, with an effective fare increase of 4.1% across the board. Mr. Alvarado has Alzheimer's and is described as 5'8" tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes. He was last seen at 3:00 PM on Saturday, 1/24, wearing a grey jacket, green pants, and a navy blue backpack. The Community Arts Grant (CAG) awards up to $5,000 to Bronx nonprofit organizations for public arts programming in local Bronx neighborhoods. Individual artists may also apply through a fiscal sponsor or community partner. Artists for Community (AFC) is another grant awarding funding for community projects in the Bronx.
