New York state has come up with a new way to combat counterfeit licenses: black-and-white photos. Starting in July, New Yorkers who need new licenses will get a hard plastic card with monochromatic photos—that's right, your face will pop up multiple times on the new cards. Living in Sequence is a comic book exhibition celebrating Poe Park's place in comic history. Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson once created Batman, Robin and the Joker while sitting on a park bench in Poe Park. Living in Sequence will take you on a journey from the golden age of comics through today, demonstrating how the American art form of comics still thrives in the Bronx.
Artists works on display: Shawn Atkinson, Chris Duckett, Trevor Von Eeden, Will Eisner, Ray Felix, Corey F. Godwell, Dmitry Gubin, Hal Foster, N. Steve Harris, Irwin Hasen, Jack Kirby, Carl Kent, Alitha E Martinez, Regine Sawyer, Jerry Robinson, Vanessa Verduga and Roberto Williams.
